Good morning!
And in case I don’t see ya, good afternoon, good evening and goodnight!
My name is Adam Dietrich, born August 8, 1980 in Bryan, Texas. At the age of 4, my family and I moved to Rockdale, Texas and I attended Rockdale Elementary School and played soccer for several years. We moved to Rockdale to be closer to family, my grandparents have lived at the same place all their lives, where they farmed and had cattle. Growing up as a young boy I learned many things from my Grandpa…fishing, hunting, how to farm and tend cattle.

I attended Rockdale Junior High School, grades 6-8….where I played football. After middle school, I attended Rockdale High School. While there I joined Future Farmers of America, where I learned to be a responsible individual. I always loved the country and in the summer helped my Grandpa on the farm.

After high school, I wasn’t ready for more school, so I went to work for a contractor, at the local Alcoa plant. I stayed there for 5 or 6 years. I drove heavy equipment, an excavation job. The Alcoa plant itself was hiring so I tried for that and got it. I worked there in the pot rooms for several years, until the plant closed it doors. What to do now, I applied for several jobs, realizing that these jobs were not what I wanted to do.

I have always loved tinkering with cars and even some restoration projects, so I decided, at approximately age 29, I would go back to college. I applied at TSTC in Waco, Texas. I attended there for 2 years. It is one of the best trade schools in Texas. After being out of school for all of these years, it’s amazing how easy it was to get back in the groove. Probably because I was doing something I enjoyed.
